Why We Exist
Many first-time authors stall before ever reaching the finish line. Between editing, design, platform building, and marketing, the process can feel isolating and confusing. We started F.A.I.T.H. Publishing to change that.
Our founder, Jim Cedar, was once in that very position — a first-time author navigating the publishing world for the first time. After completing his debut book, Jim was offered three contracts: two with hybrid publishers and one with a traditional publisher. Each one was enthusiastic about his manuscript, calling it “the best book written on church planting in decades.”
But despite their excitement, the options came with a difficult reality — the hybrid publishers required thousands of dollars upfront, and the traditional publisher offered no marketing support. Even more concerning, Jim discovered that publishing traditionally meant surrendering full control of his book — from pricing and design to editing and distribution rights.
He realized that many Christian authors face this same dilemma: pay to publish or publish with no real voice or marketing help. That experience became the spark that ignited F.A.I.T.H. Publishing — a for-profit publishing ministry built to serve authors faithfully, affordably, and strategically.
We exist to give writers the tools, mentorship, and community they need to share their God-given message with excellence and impact — while maintaining ownership and control of their creative work.

F.A.I.T.H. Publishing was launched from the heart of the Reframe Community, a movement that helps people engage in real conversations, experience authentic faith, and find grace without judgment.
Through Reframe Community. we’ve seen how the right message — shared at the right time — can bridge the gap between skepticism and belief, hurt and healing, isolation and belonging.

I thought, ‘If I’m going to do all my own marketing anyway, why would I give up ownership of the message God gave me?’ That question changed everything. I decided to find a better way to publish — one that allowed authors to maintain control and still produce something excellent.
